Image Gallery was broken, now fixed and improved.

The image gallery was broken during some of the changes I made changing the multimedia section, this is now fixed.

While I was working on the galley I decided to change its design a little bit particularly making the page links more clear.

I also fixed some silly CSS errors involving the page size which should prevent the sidebar (stuff on the right) from moving about quite as much from page to page.

Updated the shop some more and rewritten multimedia section.

I have updated the shop to include the rest of the UK and also the US Amazon films. I will look into adding TV series at a later date.

I have also rewritten the multimedia section to centralise its database, like I have the shop and filmography/image gallery.

What this basically means is when you are viewing the shop, it can tell you if there are any preview images or videos. Likewise if you are viewing the image gallery it can advise you of any related video clips or shop items. It makes the whole site a lot easier to use.

Updated the shop and made it more integrated with the rest of the site.

It will now be able to let you know if we have any stills from the movie in our image gallery and will also include a link to the shop from the image gallery. This should make it a lot easier to decide which movies you wish to buy.

I have only added a small sample of movies, mostly from the UK Amazon. I will be adding all the ones which are available later today after I get some sleep.

Added 277 images from Nights in Rodanthe to the filmography gallery.

I have added 277 HD (1280x534) stills from Nights in Rodanthe to the filmography image gallery.

I have also made a few minor tweaks to the gallery, it now displays the gallery name and image number in the title bar when you are viewing an image.

Fixed the last 4 images on the photos page and rewrite news handling.

The filenames of the last 4 images on the photos page were incorrect as I was in a hurry when I uploaded it, now fixed.

I have also rewritten the main page so that news is easier to update.

Minor tweaks to main page and photo gallery.

Added a red cross to the top right of each news sheet to make it more obvious you can click to close it.

Updated the photo gallery page so the photos popup like the film/tv galleries instead of simply opening a new window.(a bit puzzled why I didn't do that a long time ago)

Added Parenthood to the TV section of the filmography page.

Mae in "Parenthood" TV series this Fall on NBC.

Mae is to feature in the second attempt at converting the 1989 movie Parenthood into a TV series.

Their first attempt in 1990 was a flop despite featuring a lot of young actors (Leonardo DiCaprio, David Arquette, Thora Birch) who would later go on to make it big.

Her character is Amber but not much else is known yet.

Mae Whitman Amazon Shops now online!

I have finally gotten around to putting the shop back online. It is nowhere near finished yet as I plan to have a few alternatives for how to access it (aShop or direct Amazon links, whichever people prefer), but you can currently visit the US or UK aShops and search a full listing of Mae Whitman DVDs.

Mae to voice UK speaking clock for 3 months to promote Tinker Bell!

The BT speaking clock 123 will be temporarily replaced with the voice of Mae as Tinker Bell to promote the new Disney movie of the same name. The promotion will last for three months and started at 1am this morning.

Unfortunately the poor quality of most telephones means it doesn't exactly sound like her. It actually seems to make her American accent sound a lot stronger than normal which is unfortunate as a lot of British people are intolerant of American accents. Still, its great promotion for her even if a few stuck-up brits get upset about it.

Here is a sample of Mae as the speaking clock but just bear in mind that on a real telephone it sounds quite different. In the sample I can tell fairly easily its Mae, over the phone it could be anyone as it seems to bring out her accent a lot more. I would not have realised it was her over the phone if I did not already know it was.

Repaired the gallery Jag S4 E11 Jaggle Bells and updated it with the new stills I made, replacing the previous 23 that Artcurus had kindly provided.
